This is my first theme. The coding and some graphics are based on Alex Mayer's wonderful Dark Hack. I also used a few coding ideas from Humberto Santana's iClassic theme, such as how to do the volume bar. I made some of my graphics by editing icons from Dark Hack, and pretty much stole the progress bar. The theme itself is not so different from the original iPod layout, but it's green, and better in my opinion. I hope you enjoy! I developed this for the iPod Classic but it will work fine on the Video. It returns a Rockbox logo to the theme. The logo flashes orange during hard drive access. An information line provides full file type and bit rate information. If there is a year for the song in the metadata this is displayed. If the Equalizer is enabled, the letters "Eq" also appear at the end of the line. The menu screen is kept simple for maximum readability and scrolling room. The goal with this theme was to display the largest possible album art while still having useful feedback displayed on the screen. When there is no album art, or the hold button is switched on, the screen displays more detailed information and a playlist of the next 15 songs. The theme is based on ideas from all the themes I like and following a color scheme that was inspired by the azure led circle outside the clickwheel of the Fuze for the active components with a silvery/blue background. The lower part works as a multi-display when not in WPS screen, showing song/artist info on upper line and time on the lower and including song rating when there is a song playing while on the menu screen. In radio and recording screens it indicates the relative function. In the WPS screen, the rating stars are replaced with a peak meter in the lower part and the rating is moved together with the rest of the song info. It is using multifont (15-Adobe-Helvetica and 16-Terminus-Bold). Please use latest svn build for best results. Tested only on latest simulators for iPod Video and Cowon D2 since I don't own any of these two players. All the icons, except the Playback mode one, are created/modified by me. The wps shows: Title. Artist. [Track (n) in: | Album]. Progress bar. Time played - Total time - Time left. Album Art (if not present an image of a CD is shown). [Genre | Year]. [Track n/N | in "playlist"]. [Next: track | By artist | in album]. Icons Line 1: Replaygain, Crossfade, Repeat mode, Shuffle, Disk activity. [Time | bitrate | battery time | Sleep Timer (if active)]. Icons Line 2: Battery level with different color/transparency according to its state (with charger plugged in it shows the battery level too), "spiral" of volume, Playback mode. **(text in [] are alternating lines) Works with current build Works with release 3.13 |
