Tip for the visualizer: for the liveliest reaction at normal volume, set a tight peak‑meter range under Settings → General Settings → Display → Peak Meter — Minimum Of Range −30 dB, Maximum Of Range −4 dB, Peak Hold Time Off, Peak Release 8. (Peak‑meter range is a global Rockbox setting and can't be bundled inside a theme.) The SBS (Menu) is based on the OneBit Monochrome theme by Ben Clayton. Features: Enjoy viewing 110x110 album art using this theme, which looks better than you think although you may need to adjust your contrast! Scrolling text allows for full size artwork, without any covering up. Large menu font, great for readability & contrast. The WPS displays the Album, Artist & Track, Audio Quality, Track Progress (visual), Time Remaining (text), Volume Level (visual & text) and the Track Number. I've been using this theme for a few months without noticing any bugs, but if you encounter one you want fixing then give me a shout! Works with current dev build Works with release 4.0 |

It attempts to balance displaying enough pertinent information with a clean aesthetic. Features: In the persistent status bar, it has icons/meters for volume level, hold status, play status (play/pause/stop etc.), disc activity, and battery status. The while playing screen features information about playlist position and icons for crossfade (on/off), shuffle state (on/off), and repeat (all/one/shuffle/AB) that stay right aligned and disappear if not needed. For track information, it displays the track name, artist, album (optionally alternating with the date), and next track info (track name and artist, alternating). A progress bar rounds out the bottom. I attempt to display all of this in as clean and readable a way as possible. (Note: this theme requires the Rockbox Font Pack for the included Helvetica fonts) This theme lives on GitHub!
